Living Magically is for those who have chosen to ‘wake up’ - to grow and evolve into the new consciousness.

What does ‘living magically’ mean?

* growing through joy rather than struggle

* listening to the whispers (that is, trusting your intuition - and acting upon the hidden ‘messages’ in your everyday life)

* taking total responsibility for your life (that is, no more blame or victimhood)

* learning to love and accept yourself (including your Shadow side) - since a loving relationship with self is the basis of good relationships with others

* fulfilling your higher purpose (making a positive difference on the planet, in your own unique and joyful way)

* recognising that we are all part of the same unbroken Whole (so all of our actions - even our thoughts, fears and desires - have impact)

* becoming aware - as we knew long ago - that everything is conscious

* living in peace and harmony with all beings

* slowing down, balancing your life and learning to live in the moment (’living in Soft Time‘)

* becoming an active partner (with humans, spirit and/or nature) in co-creating heaven on earth - while keeping your feet firmly on the ground!

We are living in times of great change. Our old ways of seeing the world are no longer working. Our old systems are rapidly collapsing. Our environmental crisis is growing daily.

Yet there are also countless signs of positive change. We are collectively waking up to a new paradigm - a new consciousness - which honours all beings in the sacred web of life, and which empowers us to become co-creators of heaven on earth. Countless people are shifting from a mindset based upon fear, control, struggle, manipulation, addiction and codependency to a new way-of-being based on love, partnership, balance, harmony and cooperation.

The Earth is now facing us with a stark choice: conscious evolution
or extinction.

The choice is ours!

Gill Edwards

Living Magically was created by Gill Edwards, clinical psychologist and author of the best-selling books ‘Living Magically’, ‘Stepping Into The Magic’,Pure Bliss’, ‘Wild Love’ and ‘Life Is A Gift’ - published by Piatkus Books, London.

Here are some excerpts from Gill’s books

Self-Love

Remember that everything is our friend, and send love to whatever you experience. If you feel fear, doubt, negativity, resentment or self-pity, send love to those thoughts and feelings, rather than rejecting or battling with them. Melt the thoughts and feelings in a warm embrace. Whatever comes up, send it love. (see Stepping Into The Magic, Ch.10 - Adventures in Consciousness)

One-ness

Next time you are in a crowded place - perhaps a supermarket queue, busy shopping street, railway station or café - spend a few minutes looking around at the faces around you, seeing everyone here as part of you. Gaze at each person, accepting them totally as an aspect of yourself. See the God, the Light within each of them. Surround each person in white light, sending them your love. Allow yourself to merge with them all, experiencing your Oneness. Listen out for any ‘better than’ or ‘less than’ judgements that might pass through your mind, and remind yourself that in judging others, we judge ourselves. (see Living Magically, Ch.2:9 - Dance With the Angels)

Releasing the Past

Find or make an object which symbolises what you wish to leave behind: a photograph, a door-key, a love letter, a scarf. Go to a place in nature which feels sacred or powerful to you, taking the object, a trowel and a ‘give-away’ such as a crystal or silver coin. Sit and attune with Spirit, asking for help. Speaking from your heart (silently or aloud), tell this place what this object means to you, and why you wish to release what it symbolises - feeling gratitude for all you learnt or gained from it. Release any emotion attached to this object. Then bury the object in the Earth, along with the gift of your ‘give-away’. Ask your unseen friends for help in releasing the past - and hold a vision of your future. As you walk away, give thanks and feel your new freedom! (See Stepping Into The Magic, Ch.4 - Dancing Your Dream Awake)

Magic Moments

Magic moments come from being fully present. You might be feeling the soft breeze on your face, smelling a baby’s hair or eating a plum - but whatever you are doing, you’re not lost in thoughts of the past or future, but fully alive in the here-and-now. Right now: let your thoughts slow down and drift past without grabbing hold of them, and bring yourself into this unique moment. What can you see, hear, feel or smell right now? How does your body feel? What is happening around you? Can you feel the magic? (From Pure Bliss, Ch.2: 24 - Slow Down and Live in the Moment)

Simplify your Life

[As we shift into Soft Time, we often want to simplify our lives.] If you feel an inner pull towards simplicity, grab pen and paper, and ‘go within’ - then ask your higher wisdom: ‘What do I need to do to simplify my life?’ Be open to the possibility of making big changes - such as moving to a smaller home, leaving the city, resigning from your job or going part-time, or throwing out your entire wardrobe. Or you might feel moved to take small, easy steps at first - such as not listening to the news, shopping less often, or limiting your wardrobe to two or three basic colours which suit you. Trust your heart - and take action! (See Pure Bliss, Ch.2:5 - Simplify Your Life)
